Keiron Leach the Artist, at work within the landscape

Keiron Leach

Biography

Keiron’s work explores the changing weather and light effects on the landscape. It is evocative of all kinds of weather, from grand effects to subtle mists.

He predominantly works with ink wash on paper and all pieces are begun, and often finished, en plein air on location.

They are intense meditations on landscape, perhaps the pictorial equivalent to haiku poetry.

Born in Guildford, Surrey, in 1974, Keiron went on to study Fine Art at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. Since graduating in 1995 he has exhibited his work in many galleries and group shows.

Keiron now resides in North Devon and is currently represented by GBS Fine Art.

“Black and white works – drawings, etchings, woodcuts and ink works are often small and have trouble competing for the glance of a visitor, and yet in these intimate visual statements we sometimes get closer to an artist’s mind.”
